“Watch out for people who are always bragging about who they are. A lion will never have to tell you it’s a lion.” Each time when a project is successfully completed, I love to show off the efforts of the colleague(s) who assisted me achieving it. This makes them seen in the company, while it motivates them to grow and be proud in general. In the process, the next question on that project will go directly into the team. I trust my team, they will ask me questions when needed, thus keeping the flow of independence.A good manager is part of the team when things go well and takes the hit alone when it didn’t work out.It’s interesting to see that having your work speak for you, will not always get you the recognition it deserves. The ones who brag will get the shout out for sure! I prefer the force of knowing I did well and be the lion instead.
